Haves and Have Nots

It's been a little quiet around here recently. Let's get caught up, shall we?

I have been feeling really sad for the last week.

have not been eating the right things or enough of them, and I have been feeling like total crap, but I also have taken steps to make this a better week.

I have been working and studying all hours of the day until I can't even think straight.

I have not been reading and commenting and replying and blogging like usual.

I have been spending my few spare moments of free time emailing with a photographer in California about a photo shoot this summer. Because, priorities. More on that later, cross my heart.

have not been doing all my triathlon-specific workouts.

have been letting myself off the hook for that since I'm not training for anything big until October (and pssst! Next Tuesday is Training for Tuesday - get your posts ready to link up with Alyssa and me!). 

I have been doing yoga just because I feel like it (and if you follow me on Instagram, you have been getting bombarded with my daily asanas. #sorrynotsorry).

  1. I'm so sorry you've been sad. I went through a period of that about a month or so ago... I was just sad for no reason. Luckily, things will turn around. And the semester is coming to a close, right?! YAY!
    And as for yoga bombardment.... LOVE IT! You're rocking every prompt.

  3. um..... photoshoot?! I am super nosy and can't wait to know more. and for the first time ever i have my TFT pose ready already (it's not training specific but it's fitness ish specific so that's okay right?) and i'm excited and yay for yoga! i kinda feel bad that i'm bombarding the world with my yoga poses (haha, the world lol) but i'm sad the challenge is ending soon.

  4. The training link up is already next week?? Where did the month go?! I seriously feel like I just wrote my last one. I had a serious case of the sads that I am trying to dig myself out of this week too. Its rough!!! Here to hoping this week is happier for both of us!

  5. I hate sad weeks but I know they're necessary for the yin and yang of life.

    I was way off my eating game this weekend and feel crappy today. Back at it!

  6. More on this photoshoot stat, please? Also, WOW, is it already almost time to link up again? Spoiler alert: no idea what I'm going to write about. You're a better host than me. Anyway, you get a complete and total pass for last week and a great big "atta girl" for every way in which I know you're going to be awesome this week.

  7. hope you feel better soon; sometimes we all feel a little out of sorts.
    last week i was in full rage mode and EVERYTHING made me mad. then i got my period and it all made sense LOL. not that you needed to know that but well, now you do :D

    next week is the training linkup already? shoot, where did the time go....and what am i going to post about now that i've already puked up everything there is to know about muay thai?

    I'm hopping back on the training for tuesday train! it's like a free gimme for a blog post idea and I need to get back on my blogging game!

  9. I hope you're feeling better love, I can so relate to this entire post since you described my last week to a tee. Some weeks are just MEH!! I didn't read comment reply or blog, didn't workout as much as I should have or anything! But heres to a better week ahead. I wish you nothing but the good things for this week - workouts and life-wise.

  11. I am also so curious about California and a photoshoot?! Are you in finals/end of the semester everything right now? I hope you're feeling better and maybe get a little relaxation from school things (and other stresses) this weekend! I looove all of the yoga poses you guys did- I need to get my thoughts together for the next linkup.

  12. That's so exciting about the photo shoot! I want to know more! I enjoyed seeing all your pics for the yoga challenge. I might have to join in on the next one. I have been keeping up with my yoga, but I have not been able to give up cheese yet!
